Location

Gourdon is an ancient bastide town overlooking the Bouriane with beautiful tree lined boulevards. It has a thriving social centre with two weekly markets brimming with local produce. There are schools for all age groups including a weekly boarding school. Gourdon is well serviced by out-of-town stores plus a well-equipped hospital and administrative centre. There is easy access to the Channel ports and the Pyrennes and the nearest airports are Bergerac and Toulouse, plus the new international airport at Brive to be opened this year.
